Printer Applicators

Peacock Bros. sell and distribute the full rage of Weber Label Printer-Applicator Systems. These sturdy, affordable, self-contained units use Zebra, Sato or Datamax high-density thermal/thermal-transfer label printers with an automatic label applicator to simultaneously print and apply pressure-sensitive labels to the tops, bottoms or sides of products right along the conveyor line.

The major benefits of print-apply systems include their ability to Eliminate the expense and inconvenience of preprinted labels, label obsolescence, reduce labor costs, fast precise labeling with automatic numbering and encoding of RFID smart labels.

The Zebra, Datamax and Sato print engines have programmable speeds up to 406mm per second with optional print heads of 200,300 or 600 dpi.
Option methods for applying labels to containers are Tamp-blow, air-blow methods, twin-tamp for 2 side labeling, swing-tamp for front or back labeling and corner-wrap with a consistent accuracy of up to +/- of 0.75mm.

The label manufacturing process begins in our graphics department, where skilled technical artists use the latest computer aided systems to design labels or tags that match the customers’ specification. Our printing plates are produced in-house to ensure quality throughout the prepress process. We purchase mill rolls with pressure sensitive adhesives, slit to order and print all orders on state-of-the-art flexographic, digital or letterpress presses.
