An IP54 rain and dust resistance rating has been awarded to the CN50 and with a drop specification of 1.5 Metres onto concrete making it an ideal combination of damage resistant and lightweight functionality for hold and carry activities. With a standard battery installed it only weighs 310gms and yet still operates reliably in harsh workplace environments.
Another outstanding feature of the Intermec CN50 is the ability to convert paper documents into editable electronic files. This is made possible via an optional application called Intermec Enhanced Mobile Document Imaging (eMDI) which allows the user to take a photo of a printed document and the CN50 will scan the document identify the text and layout and produce an electronic version that can be edited, perfect for invoices, customer queries and records.
