The Cipherlab 8500 RFID series keeps working day and night with efficient energy usage and long battery life. Its 400mAh battery works through multi-shift operations between recharges, with up to 400 hours of use in batch mode and 32 hors using WLAN1. A backup battery protects data during battery replacement.

Built to work the way you do, the CipherLab 8500 RFID series integrates a range of communications options. 802.11b WLAN enables instant wireless communications with backend systems. GSM / GPRS WWAN gives you maximum productivity in the field to update enterprise databases from anywhere. Bluetooth Class 2 puts puts more information in more places where ever and whenever you need it. Plus, USB, modem and ethernet enabled cradles give you limitless options for your communications.

Easy label reading at any distance

Long and extra long range laser boast productivity and accelerate all reading activities, from as close as 5cm up to 13 metes away. Laser and linear imager options allows ideal adoption to your environment and requirements.

The CipherLab 8500 RFID series reads a wide range of codes, including the latest 2D symbologies. Increasingly used where small label size and large amounts of data are desired, 2D codes allow high-data density in such applications as small item tracking, electronic component marking, portable data files, material data safety sheets or secure personal identification such as drivers licenses.
