e-fill Australia handle on a daily basis the stock required to keep up the inventory of over
1,300 Coles Express service stations located all over Australia. They have now made a
commitment to Coles Express what most companies would not dare: to complete this task
with 100% accuracy 100% of the time, no errors, no excuses.
To achieve this e-fill would have to replace the existing paper-based stock systems with real-time, automated inventory tracking and processing. Peacock Bros. was called in
to recommend and implement a system that would eliminate any possibility of stock errors being made.
The new solution implemented included wearable data terminals and ring scanners from
Symbol Technologies, all wirelessly linked via an RF Access Point allowing the warehouse
staff to perform hands-free product scanning and stock control.
The wearable data terminals and the sites inventory computer both integrated via software
that was developed from scratch, allowing both the computer and portable data terminals
to now communicate real-time stock movements and organize the orders to be processed.

Four stock verification processes have been added into the product handling procedure,
each time confirming that the correct products were received, allocated and delivered.
Mr. Hughes, CEO of e-fill said, 'Peacocks have delivered exactly what was asked for, live on-the-go stock control with no tolerance for errors'.
