The S4M will be available in Direct Thermal only or Direct Thermal / Thermal Transfer print options. The case and frame constructed from sturdy metal, with a large 203mm label roll capacity and clear media viewing side door. This printer will operate reliably in most harsh warehouse and distribution centre environments.
Designed to perform, the S4M can print up to 104mm wide at 152mm per second and handle labels up to .25mm thick. For ease of operation it has a back-lit 2 line LCD display and a 6 button panel for direct input of label information and operation preferences.
Offering a variety of ways to connect, from serial, parallel, and USB interfaces to optional internal 10/100 Ethernet or wireless 802.11b for simple system integration. The S4M will work alongside your other Zebra printers because it uses the same programming languages (ZPL and EPL). Zebras new APL language will let you easily change from other-brand printers to the new S4M printers without changing your label formats.
