Peacock Bros. is established by brothers Ernest and Charles Peacock as a small general printing business in Sydney. Ernest takes over the business, moving to the heart of Collins Street, Melbourne.
Peacock Bros. is commissioned by the Commonwealth Publishing Company to print a booklet celebrating the Opening of the First Federal Parliament of Australia.
The printing business diversifies by also providing businesses with account stationery, filing systems and office products. The company now employs over 100 staff across the ANZ region
Peacock Bros. move to a larger purpose-built premise located on Bourke Street, Melbourne. The building is name ‘Peacock House’

Peacock Bros. expands into New Zealand with the acquisition of Label NZ, now trading as Peacock Bros. NZ Ltd.. Peacock Bros. also enters the automated data capture industry with the acquisition of a mobile data and barcoding company now known as the Peacock Bros. Enterprise Mobility Solutions (EMS) division.
The business grows within the automated data capture industry and acquires Walker Datavision Australia, bolstering its software and engineering capabilities within this field.
